**Top 3 Reasons Why Two Way Radios Are Still Better than Cell Phones for Business**

Many of our first time customers do not know the benefits of two way radios of cell phones, so we thought we would share our thoughts on the matter. Here are the top reasons why we think two way radios are better than cellular for business. 1)Simply put, they are more economical. In the cell world users usually have to pay for the phone. On top of that there is a monthly service fee of anywhere from 50 to 100 bucks per phone. With radio, there are no monthly fees, once you buy the radio you own it and do not have to pay anything further. Users can get a basic business radio for under 200.00.
Reason 2) Two way radios last longer than cell phones. Have you ever dropped your phone? Most of them end up with a cracked screen or broken housing after a few drops. Radios are drop tested from three feet on concrete. This makes them more durable and longer lasing than cellular.
Reason 3) Safety, Most Commercial drivers do not need to operate an Iphone while driving a truck. Phones are small and have too many distracting features to keep the driver occupied. Two way Radios are simple, just press a large button and transmit. Not to mention the national transportation law that went into affect awhile back prohibits commercial drivers from using cell phones due to safety reasons.
Durability, Safety and Cost Efficient sums up why two way radios are still a better business choice over cell phones. In a world where complexity is driving the market, sometimes it makes sense to take a step back and keep it simple.

Vertex VX-264 Radios**Analog is still in Style**

With all the new digital radios coming out recently Vertex decided to release an all new analog VX-264 Radio. While this radio is analog it seems to fit into a market that keeps customers on the coming back for more. This model we found is perfect for education, especially schools that are working with a very limited budget. The Alphanumeric Display makes it easy to label departments by name and the voice encryption adds an extra layer of security. The VX-264 also comes equipped with a high capacity lith-ion battery, designed to withstand longer shifts. UHF models come with 5 watts of power which is 1 watt more than most other brands offer. The analog radios have some benefits over digital, the main one being the signal loss signs. With analog when you are losing signal you usually get some warnings, static, scratch sounds and then nothing. With digital radios there is no warning, when the signal is gone it is gone. Purist can rest easy knowing that analog is still around, at least for a little while. With all the features it makes sense to us why some users prefer to stick with analog. Basic, Affordable  and Reliable, it is no wonder why these radios are still a popular favorite. Thanks for following us.

New To Talktwoway.com, The New Vertex VX261 Two Way Radios!

Vertex has recently announced the all new VX261 Radios.  These radios are the replacements for the older VX231 models. There have been some minor upgrades to these new units, first off the belt clip for the radios is now located on the back of the battery instead of the radio. This makes it easier for users to change out the clips when needed, no more hassling with screw down belt clips. All the clips are a slide on style similar to Motorola. The other advantage of the new VX261 radios is the 700mW audio, the older VX231 models had 500mW audio. What does this mean to you? It equates to a louder, volume radio. For more details contact us.
